I am back from Vacation and relisting the unit. This is a great sounding preamp / tuner that has the best features of both from McIntosh. I recently sent it out for a restoration and update and am very happy with the results, however I am selling my home and we are traveling in a motorhome for a few years so the Audio has to go. I have attached a list with the work done and a picture of the old parts that were replaced. I added the wood cabinet a few years after after I bought the unit, it but unfortunately the cabinet was not as well taken care of as this unit was and the cabinets has a few dings where the veneer was chipped as shown in the pictures. Be careful buying something that is "as is"  or untouched as these units are all 50 years old and need some replacements alignment etc and it will end up costing you an additional 0 or more to have it updated etc as I did. Below is a list of the work performed.

Just ask if you need it quick. I tend to over-pack so I will guarantee that my packing will meet the requirements of the carrier so that insurance will cover the damage should there be a claim. Replaced all electrolytic capacitors under the chassis, replaced 3 power supply filter cap cans, replaced ceramic coupling capacitors in phono and line stages with film types Replaced heat damages terminal strip. Updated 5w ceramic resistor values to compensate for higher AC line voltages. Cleaned all controls/switches and tuning capacitor stator contacts. Aligned FM, RF, IF, Discriminator and Multiplex sections.
